Search bots cause clutter
Reported by Aurelien Botman | October 24th, 2010 @ 09:49 PM
Not a bug per se, but logs reveal that search bots (google, etc) are producing lots of empty sessions. This results in an over-cluttering of output files, most of which are empty.
This is probably because a new session is initiated simply by following a link from the front page.
To fix, we'd need to make the 'user' complete a POST request, or a kind of CAPTCHA, before a session ID is handed out to the 'browser'.

(Temporary solution: robots.txt has been implemented. Still need to prevent the bad bots from starting a session though.)
